Location: Landmark Center, 75 W Fifth St., St. Paul, MN

the people of the Philippine right here in the Twin Cities.  Admission is

2. Come to St. Cloud and Enjoy a Super Series of China-Related Celebrations
of Life and Culture

Come to St. Cloud and enjoy a super series of China-related celebrations of
life and culture which will regale you, body-mind-and-spirit.  Please visit

UNIITE has created and organized a "Chinese Wisdom Dialogues" series which
will continue next on 2/28 (at United Methodist Church), 3/13 (at Salem
Lutheran Church) [incorrectly noted as 3/10 in last update], and concludes
on 3/27 will be from 5.30 to 8.30 pm, at University Lutheran Church of the
Epiphany (4th St. and 4th Ave. South, St. Cloud).  It consists of the sixth
and final Chinese Wisdom Dialogue and will include a Chinese Dinner,
fundraiser for UNIITE, from 7.10 to 8.30 pm.  Tickets till 3/13 are
$20/adult, $10/child below age 10. At the door on 3/27: $30/adult, $15/child
below age 10. Students: $5 discount (pre-registration till 3/13, $15 and, at
the door, on 3/27, $25).  Call 320/291-7124.

Main presenter: Dr. Yiwei Zheng, Department of Philosophy, St. Cloud State
University.  Topics of presentations center on Confucianism, Daoism, Chan
Buddhism, and Tibetan Buddhism.

Area respondents at each session (Johanna Armstrong, Stephen Philiion,
Patrick Henry & Pat Welter, Jim McNelly, and others) will speak of their
personal China-connection.

3. MN150 Family Matinees "Speaking in Tongues"

Speaking in Tongues features musicians from China, Africa, Mexico and
Minneapolis performing folk music from around the world; and Tou Ger Xiong,
the nation's first Hmong-American comedian, rap artist and storyteller.

Paul

5. UNIT Student Projects

The Asian American Journalists Association is now accepting student
applications for the UNITY Student Projects, which will take place in
Chicago, IL from July 23-27, 2008.  The Student Projects will provide
students with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in news production
and reporting in a professionally guided atmosphere of convergence using the
latest communication technology.  Students will work in a multimedia
environment and have the opportunity to practice daily journalism, as well
as work with professionals from major news organizations and gain valuable
career-building experience.  For more information and to apply, please visit
