2. 2007 Asian Media Access' Lunar New Year Celebration Gala - March 4th,
2007
2007 Asian Media Access' Asian Lunar New Year Celebration Gala is coming in
March.
What: Asian Media Access will host its Second Annual Asian Lunar New Year
Celebration. The Celebration is to raise needed funding for Asian Media
Access' Multi Arts Complex.
When: Sunday, March 4, 2007, 12 PM - 3 PM
Where: The Varsity Theater in Dinkytown, 1303 4th Street, SE., Minneapolis,

Admission: $35 per person

The celebration will highlight the bests of Asian movie trailers and
funniest commercials and a Silent auction.
Buffet Lunch: The buffet will feature dishes of Twin Cities Asian
restaurants such as Chinese, Hmong, Japanese, Thai and Vietnamese, etc.
Silent auction: Items include performance tickets, restaurant gift
certificates, free coffee from Caribou for a year, and much more. All funds
will go toward building of the Multi Arts Complex.

Asian Media Access is a non-profit organization dedicated to furthering the
use of media and information technology as an educational and communicative
tool to "Connect the Disconnected" within the Asian American & Pacific
Islander (AAPI) community. Asian Media Access seeks funding to establish a
Multi Arts Complex to support Movie theater/live performance; while
providing training space for media Arts, leadership skills, and housing
units of cultural living. The requested funds will be used to purchase,
design and renovate a building at 2418 N. Plymouth Ave. in Minneapolis. For

An evening showcase of talent and broadened horizons featuring performances
by Strivin¹ Young Adults in North Minneapolis!
